From Lot to Spot Helps Secure Over $4 million Grant for New Park in Lawndale

Congratulations to the City of Lawndale which will receive over $4 million to move forward with a project to build a brand new park.

From Lot to Spot was once again instrumental in securing the grant money for the City of Lawndale.

The City of Lawndale will move forward with its plans of providing a 1.5 acre neighborhood park on the 14000 block of Larch Avenue.  FLTS will remain involved in the process and keep the community informed.

We want to thank the Lawndale community for its interest, help and dedication throughout the initial stages of the project.  This grant would not be a reality without your support!  Thank you!!

City of Lynwood Awarded $4.9 Million Grant for Park!

From Lot to Spot was instrumental in securing $4.9 million for the City of Lynwood.

The money, secured from a grant written by From Lot to Spot, will be used to create a 5.25 acre  Walking Park along Fernwood Avenue.  FLTS will help manage the project and continue to empower the community to engage in the park’s future success!

We would like to note that this accomplishment really belongs to the community whose voice was absolutely necessary in creating a space that reflects their needs.  This grant award would not have been possible without your participation and dedication.  We will keep you updated as the project moves forward!  Thank you!!
