Ever wish you could help empower local communities?  Do you want to improve your social advocacy skills?  Are parks, gardens and green space your passion?  Do you speak Spanish?

If you answered YES to all, From Lot to Spot has the internship for you!

From Lot to Spot is a non-profit organization that strives to address the need and inequity of park/green space in underserved neighborhoods.

As an intern at From Lot to Spot you will have the opportunity to work closely with and learn from the organization’s Executive Director.  You will benefit from this unique mentorship opportunity for the next generation’s leaders and anyone interested in social advocacy.

Ideal candidate will be a socially conscious, out going, energetic person that loves to interact with people!

As an intern at From Lot to Spot you will:

  • educate community members about potential green projects
  • learn about social advocacy and community engagement
  • organize and attend community events and meetings
  • implement fundraising and development campaigns
  • update and maintain social media outlets
  • help maintain internal files
  • visit project sites

Candidate must be current college or graduate student

Position is eligible for credit as arranged through your school
