From Lot to Spot (FLTS) has been working with local Watts community members and students from David Starr Jordan High School since 2014 to convert a vacant lot across from their school into a community garden! Through comprehensive community outreach, FTLS listened to the voices of Watts residents and in partnership with the Los Angeles Conservation Corps transformed this blighted lot into a much needed greenspace for the community. This project was made possible by the support and leadership of City of Los Angeles Councilman Joe Buscaino’s office, thank you!

November 5th was the Grand Opening! Community members joined in on the celebration with the Jordan High Drum line, Councilman Buscaino, and LACC._15a1852_15a1920 _15a1948 _15a2011
