On April 14th , 2012 we opened the first ever community garden in Lennox, Ca;
a densely populated, low-income community with a lack of access to healthy food choices. From Lot to Spot worked very closely with many organizations, lead by the Office of Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas who drove the initiative.
This project was a wonderful and successful collaboration between the Office of Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, Southern California Gas Company, the Los Angeles Conservation Corps, Golden State Water, Home Depot, New Visions Foundation, and LA County Department of Parks & Recreation.

We look forward to the coming harvests with the community gardeners!
